How do you wrap up the final season of a groundbreaking political show in the middle of civil unrest?
With a revolutionary campaign.
Our strategy for the social campaign focused on a combination of looking back at the long journey fans have been on and teasing what was to come. We let the material speak for itself and left it up to the fans to point out the political parallels to current events in the United States.
Given the heavy subject, we lightened the mood a little by sprinkling fun pieces throughout the season using bloopers and BTS footage of the cast.
Starting a Red-volution
Five seasons is a lot to remember. We kicked off the campaign recapping the previous seasons through videos and static carousels leading to a sneak peak of the start of season 6.
Serena's Wedding
One of the biggest moments of the season was Serena's wedding. We invited fans to the event
with an official Gilead style wedding invitation and teased it with Now Streaming announcements.




The Tone is Dark, The Cast is Fun
How do you shoot one of the darkest shows in streaming? You have fun on set.
To help lighten the mood as the season rolled out, we created multiple pieces of content
that focused on showing how much fun the cast has making The Handmaid's Tale
and sharing their favorite memories on set overt the years.


Saying Goodbye
The hardest part of a final season is saying goodbye to the characters we love (and love to hate).
That goodbye is even harder when you know two fan favorites are going to die.
To help fans grieve the loss of Commander Lawrence and Nick,
we created two pieces remembering them throughout the seasons.
